I'm thankful for...

  1. I'm thankful for my relationship with God and how I may look the same on the outside, yet God is changing me so much on the inside.

  2. Beginning of new friendships and how encouraging that is (love you all)

  3. Prayer time as a family before each kid goes to bed... I love it! I love how Drew won't go to sleep until both mommy and daddy have to "pay" for pray.

  4. I'm thankful the many encouraging blogs I'm reading and how they are such an encouragement to me and my walk. (Thank you stiletto army1)

  5. I'm thankful for cool weather and the beautiful drive yesterday down the Mississippi river, it was such a great reflective time.

  6. I'm grateful that God using my running time as some great time to spend meditating/ praying/examining myself. (Ran over an hour non-stop yesterday, lots of discussions to be had)

I am also thankful for you.. as you are reading this you took time from your day to glance at my little list... may it be a small window into my heart and stir you to think what are you thankful for this week.

I love your list. I love the Tuesday recipe thing. I tried that once but never went far. Also had a day when I told something from the past when the older children were little but didn't get far on that. I am going to try the miracle Monday, just to post something that God has done in my life and the Songs on Saturday. I wish I knew how to make the buttons. I know how to post them on my blog. I guess I should be happy with that.

Oh, I organize my grocery stuff, too! By weight, mostly, so they don't squash everything light. Heavy first, light last. And cans together, etc. It's a work of art. :)

And...you can appreciate how hard it was to attend Ozark Christian College, with a stair compulsion. :) But I honestly did have the flights memorized--which ones to start on my left foot, and which to start on my right. Crazy. I really should be medicated. :)

Thank you for your inspirational messages Tara. I really don't know how/where you find time to do everything you do. I was talking about you tonight with Katie Stoner at Bro Bill's 60th bday party. She was filling me in on your adventurous Monday. Sounds like you had much excitement. Tee hee. We are both (I'm sure Alisha would concur, too) amazed how involved you are with so many different areas of interest yet somehow manage your family/friends, household, exercise, blogs, Facebook, etc. You are amazing. Hope you have a great week!

Tara, your blog is a ministry in itself. To God be the glory.

Also, I wanted to tell you that Joel was SOOOOOOO impressed that you ran over an hour without stopping. He ran his first 5K at Western's Homecoming last weekend so when I told him about your long nonstop run, he couldn't believe it.
